VCB Investment Berhad is an investment holding company established with investment focus in 5 areas namely Real Estate & Property Development, Engineering & Construction, Information & Communication Technology, Hospitality & Tourism as well as investing in other funds with the objective of achieving consistent returns and long-term capital gains for its stakeholders.
Fund or a collective investment scheme
VCB Investment Berhad is not a fund or a collective investment scheme. It is a company with specific business focus as defined above and is leveraging on the expertise of the management to create wealth and constant cash flow for dividend payments. You can become part of this existing journey in creating wealth and passive income when you subscribe our Preference Shares. When you subscribe our Preference Shares, you become our priority shareholder with privilege over all existing Ordinary Shareholders.

What We Do

In return for investing into suitable businesses, the organisation strives to provide certainty in annual dividends especially for our preferred shareholders.
Currently, our Preferred Shareholders receives fixed dividend of 8% per annum, paid semi-annually – with no questions asked, year on year. We have proven track record in wealth creation and we invite businesses to be part of our organisation group of aspiring growth companies.

We are different
VCB Investment Berhad believes that money is important and that we should always put the horse before the cart. In fact dividend yield should be more important than capital growth, which usually comes with different associated risks. We believe in making businesses work harder to deliver meaningful yields periodically such that investors can rely on holding our preferred shares as a source of passive income. With the peace of mind that you will always have monetary return higher than the inflation rate, you will soon realise that your wealth is already growing unknowingly.
Further in many instances, banks and fund managers are not allowed to invest into their own funds. This puts funds and unit trusts in an awkward place, where the promoters end up pushing funds and unit trusts to investors purely to earn fees. It is in their least interest to see the funds or unit trusts perform well as they are paid irrespective of performance. This is certainly not the case where we are concerned.

VCB Investment Berhad’s core strength is its management team and advisers who have many years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance and fund management business. We have experience in growing businesses from infancy to maturity, through venture capital funding and ultimately listing companies in leading global stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and London Stock Exchange. We have been around for many years now and we aspire to grow our businesses beyond the century.
You Always Come First
VCB Investment Berhad has to ensure that all preference shareholders are paid their dividends before the promoters, who only hold Ordinary Shares, can enjoy any profit of their hard work.
This puts in a lot of motivation for the promoters to work very hard in ensuring our portfolio companies and investments deliver the expected financial results and perhaps even more.
One downside for such an approach is that it cannot be simultaneously replicated multiple times and is dependent on finite amount of resources that the management team is able to dispense. Accordingly, we cannot afford to launch several funds and deploy multiple strategies for each, which will result in much higher cost of operations. We believe such an approach is counter-productive and will eventually give lower overall return.
VCB Investment Berhad believes that in order to make profit, we have to be careful of how we spend every cent – be it capital investment or operational expenditure. We have adopted a very prudent culture of not spending unnecessarily and accordingly decided to keep our team small. After all everybody know how to spend but very few have mastered the art of saving. We believe that we are better than most organisations in conserving cash.
